Color & Pattern at
PIVOT Art+ Culture

After the stunning “Seeing Nature” exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum, here is another occasion to see more of the fantastic art from Paul Allen’s collection.
This time, the exhibit is composed of abstract art by some masters.
“Color and Pattern,” at the Pivot Art + Culture gallery in South Lake Union features paintings, drawings and sculptures by David Hockney, Frank Stella, Agnes Martin, Mark Rothko, Robert Delaunay,  Guillermo Kuitca, Mark Rothko, Wassily Kandinsky, and Jasper Johns, to name a few.
The gallery is in the Allen Institute Building,
Now on view through July 23, 2017

Great State Burger
New Burgers in town

A new addition to the Seattle’s Fast Food Burgers scene!

The menu is very short: Burgers, Fries, and Milkshakes.

The burger (single patty) tasted great.  I liked the kind of brioche bun and the grass fed beef meat. Not spectacular, but very good.

It looks like they wanted to do something like Shake Shack in NYC. I need to go back to New York and check again if Great State Burger is close or not to the famous New York Burgers! 😉
